General Description
Yvette and Joe would like to invite you to stay at our Victorian home dated in the early 1800s. We are located on a quiet tree lined street just 3 houses off of River Road. A 20 minute walk along River Road will bring you to the Falls and Clifton Hill. We are about a 10 minute walk from the bus and train station. We have 4 tastefully decorated and newly renovated large bedrooms with queen and full size beds. Each room has its own bathroom. Our guests can also relax in our fireplace room, upstairs information room, downstairs in our large enclosed sunroom or our by the pond. We supply a fridge and microwave. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee, herb tea or hot chocolate from the tea bar. Our rooms are air-conditioned. Our repeat guests say our breakfast is the best they have ever eaten. On cold days we serve in our formal dining room and in the summer relax in the sunroom and enjoy our full cold buffet with homebaked goodies, cereal, fresh made fruit cup, yoguart, juice, coffee and tea. Then experience the beautifully appointed hot breakfast chosen and prepared for you by your hostess. Light, homemade waffels or french toast with fresh berries, real whipped cream and hot Canadian maple syrup, ham or sausage with eggs and pancakes. We enjoy children staying with us but sorry you have leave your dog or cat with a sitter. We accept Visa or M/C and you must make your reservations by phone. Our goal at Blue Gables is to make your stay as relaxing, informative and enjoyable as we possibly can. Our prices start at $100.00 and go to $150.00 Can. during long weekends.
